We work with over 15 women-led communities in Botswana to source these elusive gems.

We are a fully licensed harvester of Kalahari Truffles. Based in Southern Africa, over 80% of our seasonal harvesters are women. Our truffles and truffle products are not only eco-friendly but are fully licensed by the Department of Forestry and Range Resources of Botswana.

Most importantly, our operations provide meaningful income and economic development for these rural desert communities.

Our story begins in a village outside of Gaborone, the capital of Botswana. This is where we founded the most successful female-owned, socially and environmentally responsible export of natural products from the Kalahari desert. For the last 15 years, we have been working closely with local Motswana communities in the Kalahari desert.

It is through this trusted, lasting relationship with our partners that we have access to the limited and unpredictable Kalahari truffle. These are then cleaned and processed to the highest health & safety standards, and dried under the Kalahari sun using only solar energy.

Even with our extensive network, and still ensuring environmental integrity, this years harvest yielded only 20kgs of dried truffle.

We’re not trying to create an exclusive product. It simply is.
